Silk Hankies color French Hens 24 grams

Silk Hankies or Mawata are made from the cocoons of silk worms that are stretched over a frame in layers. They are excellent for wet felting, hand spinning, paper making, silk fusion, and other crafts. 

They are easily transportable for spindle spinners. I recommend only prepping one cocoon at a time for spinning.
